The recent death of Bill C-30 was cause for celebration. Ontario Information and Privacy Commissioner Ann Cavoukian called the bill’s defeat “a victory for privacy and for freedom.”

But how does your right to privacy impact your right to free expression?

We want to help you understand how privacy and free expression fit together in our increasingly complex digital environment, so we’re holding a Q&A online for you to be able to hear from experts and ask what’s on your mind.

Expert panelists:

Ann Cavoukian, Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario | @IPCinfoprivacy

Wilf Dinnick, Founding Editor and CEO of OpenFile | @wilfdinnick

Moderator: Jesse Brown, technology affairs critic, Macleans.ca & Toronto Life magazine

Join us on Tuesday, March 12, and ask your questions on our live blog, or send them in on Twitter using #CJFElive.
