Toronto, ON – May 31, 2024 – Noah Genner moves into new position at BookNet Canada, new CEO appointed
BookNet Canada announced today that President & CEO Noah Genner is moving into a new position at the organization. Noah joined BookNet April 1, 2004 and was appointed as President & CEO in June 2009. The BookNet Canada Board of Directors has appointed Lauren Stewart as President & CEO.
Over his twenty years with BookNet, Noah led the launches of nearly all of BookNet’s marquee projects, including SalesData, CataList, and BiblioShare. Moreover, his fifteen years as President & CEO are notable for strong fiscal oversight, intentional and considerable investment in BookNet Canada-owned IP, staff team growth, and product and service expansion in service of BookNet’s stakeholders. Noah’s contributions are not limited to those benefitting the Canadian publishing supply chain. In 2016, he won the Book Industry Study Group’s Most Valuable Volunteer award and in 2020 he co-founded the Green Book Alliance.
