Sameday Worldwide is part of the Day & Ross Transportation Group. The Day & Ross Transportation Group was launched June 6, 1950, when one truck was contracted to haul potatoes from New Brunswick to Quebec. Today, the group maintains a fleet of more than 4,000 vehicles and trailers and over 4,100 employees and owner operators with more than 80 terminals across Canada and the USA.
Sameday Worldwide was created in 1992 by merging two separate companies, Sameday Courier and Right-O-Way Air Express & Cargo. A strong experienced group with Canadian, US and International markets, Sameday Worldwide employs over 750 full and part-time non-unionized employees and utilizes over 400 owner-operators and a sales staff of 50 people.
Sameday Worldwide provides personalized, customized courier, express, and cargo services for customers nationwide. Our specialty is the efficient door-to-door movement of shipments of any size and weight, across Canada, to and from the United States and virtually any international location.
We offer a complete menu of time definite, competitively priced services, with the flexibility to choose the delivery mode that best suits speed and cost requirements. Other services include special pick-up times and internal handling requirements, dedicated linehaul or delivery schedule, customized billing and administrative procedures, a comprehensive customer shipping system, shipment control and tracking, computerized dispatch, bar coded labels and bar code scanning.
