The Access Copyright Foundation Announces 2011 Research Grant Recipients

The Access Copyright Foundation (ACF) has announced the recipients of this year’s research grants.

The creators and organizations who received research grants this year are:

  • Editors’ Association of Canada
  • Emily White
  • Julie Angus
  • Ken McGoogan
  • Marilyn Bowering
  • Mary Novik
  • Owlkids Canada
  • Playwrights Guild of Canada
  • Sarah Leavitt
  • UBC Press

Research grants are available to creators, publishers and organizations to cover expenses for research projects that will enhance the promotion and production of publishable Canadian culture creations. Examples include research for a book, magazine articles, or for an exhibition.

The Foundation will soon be accepting applications for event grants. Event grants are available to organizations that support Canadian creativity through events that aim to deepen appreciation and enjoyment of Canadian culture. Please check the Access Copyright Foundation website for more information on event grants as they become available. All programs through the Access Copyright Foundation are administered by the Saskatchewan Arts Board.
